Founder
Edsel Segovia is a lifelong student of strength and trainer whose passion and deep knowledge have positively impacted the health and outlook of many individuals and clients. With 19 years of in-club personal training experience in North America, South Pacific and Southeast Asia, Edsel's method and approach have not only been developed over time but honed through climate and cultural factors.
For years, he was a Master Instructor for Equinox Fitness on Bay Street in Toronto where he went rigorous training and testing of his technical and practical expertise. In 2017, Edsel took a big step establishing SEGOVIA STRENGTH, a human movement-focused individual training studio located in two prime areas in the Philippines, Greenhills, and Nuvali. In 2022, he co-founded a strength and conditioning facility in Fiji Islands called Valor Athletics, catering to Rugby and Football athletes.
Upon his return to the Philippines, Coach Edsel decided to challenge the status quo once more and decided to build Momentum Fitness, a cutting-edge facility committed to providing the very best in sports science application.
A former strength and conditioning coach of the Philippine Judo National Team, Coach Edsel devotes his time to Momentum Fitness’ training curriculum and strategic initiatives.

Head Coach
Danya Maigue has been a passionate personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and dance teacher since 2013.
Dancing has always been a significant part of her life, and through it, she discovered that exercise was not only essential but also highly enjoyable. Both her love for dance and her appreciation for fitness have profoundly shaped her life choices over the years. In school, Danya's interests in cheerdance, streetdance, and Sports Science laid the foundation for her diverse skill set.
However, it was her subsequent exploration of contemporary dance, jazz, gymnastic strength training, calisthenics, and hand balancing that truly helped her find her niche and flourish as a well-rounded fitness professional.
