Unknown Breeze - Fiji National University
On March 8, 2024, our Director of Training and Performance was invited to provide a talk on the fundamentals of strength and conditioning. This event was attended by local coaches, students and athletes within the greater area of Suva, Fiji.
Coach Edsel presented how to build an annual plan for building strength and performance for sports such as Rugby and Football.

Jiu-jitsu National Team - Philippines
In 2021, the JJFP ( Jiu-Jitsu Federation of the Philippines ) chose Coach Edsel to lead the Strength and Conditioning program of the National Team. It was a mixture of training online and on-site due to the pandemic.
This partnership carried on for 2 years where the Philippines went on to win the Gold in the women’s -48kg and -62 kg category during the Hanoi Southeast Asian Games 2021.

MOVE - Goodyear Regional Business Services
Goodyear Regional Business Services decided to have Momentum Fitness conduct a workshop on health and workplace wellness on April 19,2024. Aside from presenting in person, this workshop was also streamed on Microsoft Teams for other business units in the country to follow.
During the workshop, the importance of proper posture at work and how to avoid repetitive strain injury ( RSI ) was extensively covered. To ensure that the teachings were sustainable, a manual was provided to follow by the employees.

Kettlebell Training - Strong First School of Strength
Momentum Fitness has partnered up with Mark Limbaga and PJ Cando of Strongfirst. These 2 individuals conduct workshops regularly in our facility for trainers and fitness enthusiasts alike.

Xavier School - Likas Gilas 2025
Likas Gilas is a program that Xavier School organizes every year to give their High School students a chance to know, explore, and experience their interests beyond the classroom. Speakers from different industries such as fashion, sports, culinary arts, etc. are invited to partake in this activity to share insights and know-how to the future leaders of the country.
Momentum Fitness was invited to participate to showcase how technology is shaping the sport science industry. The students were able to participate through physical assessments and a lengthy Q&A section.

Strength and Conditioning Workshop - Suva, Fiji Islands
Valor Athletics is premier strength and conditioning facility in Suva, Fiji. Coach Edsel was invited to conduct a Strength and Conditioning workshop seminar focused on periodizing training programs and metabolic conditioning.
A variety of coaches and athletes from various sports such as Rugby, Judo, Football and Boxing attended the event. The workshop was broken in two parts, theory and practice. This will ensure that all the lessons imparted can be used immediately.

StrengthCON 2025
StrengthconPH is the organizer of the Philippine Strength and Conditioning Conference and Convention as well as numerous other continuing education and enrichment workshops and seminars. The team at Momentum Fitness was invited to conduct a workshop in partnership with VALD Performance during the 3rd Annual StrengthCON about using technology in the business of personal training.
Topics such as the use of force plate testing , 3D motion capture and ROM testing were discussed in length to emphasize how collection of data is integral in monitoring the progress of clients.

Purposeful Movement - Nestle Philippines
Momentum Fitness was commissioned to conduct a workshop about purposeful movement and how it can drastically change a person’s health. In a corporate environment like Nestle, the participants wanted to know how to manage their breaks through exercising in the office with minimal equipment. The workshop then proceeded to highlight ways to prevent RSI ( Repetitive Strain Injuries ) and teach self-stretching methods just using an office chair and bands. The workshop also involved some strength testing to document a baseline of all the participants and a workout proper to show how strength training can be sustainable and fun.
